The Essence Portrait.
An essence portrait is an original, personalized, just-for-you painting, designed to capture your raw, unencumbered, divine essence, as seen through my eyes.
After an intimate, in-depth, guided journey, we will uncover the honest and naked truth of your heart, your soul, and your being, that which will be displayed on the canvas.
The Process.
Upon choosing to proceed, we will begin with a one-on-one session where we will go through a process of thought-provoking, soul-stirring, heart-revealing questions that will allow me to know and feel who you really are, the parts of you that are yearning to be seen, the Essence of your being.
Then, inspired by what we uncover together, I will pour my heart in to capturing that which I see into a painting, the Essence Portrait, an ever-present reminder of who you are underneath the image you present, the identities you wear, and your physical expression in the world.
It is for made for you to share, display it proudly, or to keep just for you. Whatever serves you most.
The Motive.
It is no secret that modern society places our value mostly on our physical possessions and attributes, how much we achieve and how we behave in the world. We’ve become so identified in our ability to reason, problem-solve, and achieve, that our self worth is now based on how we are perceived in the eyes of the other.
And although these traits are incredibly resourceful and needed for our basic survival, we are not whole if we don’t apply the same honoring and significance to the immeasurable aspects of our being, that which is our inner wisdom, our intuition, our ability to FEEL… that which is unseen, boundless, and alive only within…. Our Essence.
My wish, desire, and my mission, is for each person, for YOU, to be seen, known, honored, appreciated, valued and celebrated for who you ARE.

At times we might not be aware of how much we’ve suppressed in order to belong and seek love. But once we’ve tasted the bounty of our divine essence, there is no turning back.
The Intention.
The Essence Portraits have been created in order to shift the trajectory of our belonging in the world. To transform how we see each other and present to the world, free of the conditions that were put upon us.
My intention through this process is to celebrate people by highlighting the vulnerable parts in us, capturing the unseen, unacknowledged, the blooming and extraordinary parts of you. By celebrating our journeys as students to our being, unraveling our true and authentic selves, time and time again, since the journey towards our freedom never ceases, but deepens.
Through the use of the language I have developed in my art, I bring forth that which is sacred in you as seen and felt by me, that which cannot be put into words but can only be witnessed and felt.

The Offering.
The Essence Portraits is a commission in which you, the Subject and my Muse, will receive an original, personalized painting that captures your raw, unencumbered essence beyond the surface.
The process will begin with a series of questions designed to have you dive deep into your heart and soul. Then we’ll have a 1:1 session together where we swim even deeper and you are witnessed in your journey inward through an exercise I design specific for you.
You become my Muse, my subject matter… your heart, soul, spirit. Together we get to uncover what will be captured in the painting. What is important to you? Who do you want the world to know your as? Who are you beneath the identities that define you? What wants to be liberated beneath the surface?
(note: the painting will not be a literal portrait of you, but rather an illustration of a part of you that is uncovered during our time together.)
